The standard design features a top-to-bottom airflow direction, blowing fresh air downward directly into the tank or hold to ensure complete air circulation and gas displacement.

1. Hose Coupling Size

While the default inlet and outlet are 50 mm (2″) threaded, we can manufacture the fan with alternative hose bores:

2. Coupling Style / Fire Hose Adaptor

The standard unit comes with plain threaded ends. Upon request, we can fit internationally recognized fire hose couplings, including but not limited to:

• NAKAJIMA type coupling
• MACHINO type coupling
• Other regional or proprietary coupling standards

3. Mounting Flange Customization

The flange ring that secures the fan to the ship’s deck opening can be custom-manufactured to match your existing hatch pattern. To proceed with a custom flange, please provide a dimensional drawing of the deck opening containing the following minimum information:

• Hatch / Coaming Inside Diameter
• Number of Bolt Holes
• PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) — the bolt hole center-to-center diameter

4. Color Finish

Standard units are available in Silver and Yellow. Custom colors can be supplied to match your vessel’s safety color scheme or fleet branding. Please specify RAL code or provide a color sample when ordering.

5. Water Motor Material

Standard Configuration — Brass Water Motor: Recommended for continuous marine duty and long-term exposure to saltwater environments. Offers superior corrosion resistance and service life.

Economy Option — Aluminum Water Motor: Available as a cost-effective alternative for light-duty or intermittent ventilation applications. Please advise your expected duty cycle and operating environment so we can recommend the most suitable motor material.
